Number 1 is to approve a proclamation judy jackson for her many years of service to Travis County and its residents.

>> thanks, judy. This is co-sponsored by commissioner Moore and myself. Since we get to share 2 2 whereas judy jackson administrative assistant for t.n.r. Satellite service center number 2 is retiring, and her job duties have consists of maintaining payroll, data entry, customer services with license sales, water delivery, general information, her services to the citizens of Travis County are greatly valued. Whereas judy additionally provided clerical help and phone assistance to the parks department working out of the satellite 2 location and her support is greatly appreciated by the staff. And whereas judy's hobbies have consisted of gardening, her lifetime love of her church, spending time with her grandson and family and always be a caregiver to all. In past years she has traveled to new mexico, north carolina and israel to experience the scenery culture and lifestyles in these very different places. Whereas judy is known to her co-workers as the police chief of precinct 12. [ laughter ] -- precinct 2. Policy enforcer, as everyone knows the greatest humanitarian of the group best demonstrated by the slow kitty crossing sign found at the rear administration building at sat 2. Other humanitarian contributions she has made include considerable donations to her favorite charities through the Travis County combined charities. Now therefore be it resolved that we the Travis County commissioners court do here by commend judy jackson for her services to Travis County and our community, we thank her for her dedicated years of service and her high level of commitment.

>> I don't make speech, thank for you those kind word, I appreciate it. I appreciate everyone here and my co-workers, it's been a fun time, I'm hoping it's going to be even more fun [ laughter ]
>> don't say that with too much enthusiasm.
>> joe, you have something that you would like to add to the mix here.
>> I want to say judy is going to be greatly missed. I have been here now going on 14 years, miss jackson was here when I came. She's been very helpful to me. In -- in realizing the goals in the old precinct system along with the new. She's given some good advice, although pointed sometimes, but it's -- she's always been very helpful. Now, we are going to miss her greatly.
>> I just want to say thank you to judy. Thank you.
>> when is your last day?
>> the 25th will be my last working day.
>> judy is one of those folks in terms of the people that we have at the satellite offices, you know, a lot of folks may not see her, are just strictly downtown, but she is one of our life lines out there. And when we get good service, judy is usually the first place that they are interfacing with. That's very, very important in terms of good customer service. So thank you on behalf of all of us. We do thank you.
