THE GRANT APPLIES FOR $15 MILLION IN ADDITIONAL FEDERAL FUNDS AND HAS AN UP TO $5 MILLION DOLLAR MATCH REQUIREMENT THAT WILL NEED TO BE DISCUSSED AS PART OF THE FY'03 BUDGET PROCESS.
B. APPROVE GRANT APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR, CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION FOR A DRUG COURT PROGRAM IN THE CRIMINAL COURTS. THE GRANT APPLICATION CONTINUES THE PROGRAM FOR FY 03.
C. APPROVE PERMISSION TO CONTINUE THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT GRANT PROGRAM IN THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. THIS REQUEST EXTENDS THE PROGRAM UNTIL A FULLY EXECUTED AGREEMENT IS AVAILABLE.
