>> Commissioner, before we move too far from public comment, could I take a moment of personal privilege to send our thoughts ought to the furtato family.
maria was shot and I would like to give our thoughts to both families and in the words of the pastor who spoke at the funeral yesterday, and my spanish is terrible so I'm going to say it in rough english translation.
some have taken bible verses out of context to reject others because of sexual orientation when in fact we are all children of god.
