and 25 is receive briefing from county attorney and take appropriate action regarding the extension of administrative leave with pay for juvenile probation department employee slot number 435.
this is under the consultation with attorney and personnel matters exceptions.
26, consider and take appropriate action regarding the potential purchase of real estate in central Austin.
consultation with attorney and real property exceptions to the open meetings act.
27, receive legal briefing and take appropriate action on appeal from June 18, 2010, Travis County grievance panel decision in sergio flores versus precinct 3 constable richard mccain, pursuant to Travis County code section 9.257 k.

and 28, interview final candidates for the executive manager position, transportation and natural resources.
personnel matters exception.
we will discuss 28 if time allows and we will talk about the process.
those interviews are scheduled to take place this afternoon.
we'll discuss these matters in executive session but will return to open court before taking any action.

...26 is consider and take appropriate action regarding the potential purchase of real estate in central Austin, and in addition we need to discuss and take interviews in 28, interview final candidates for the executive manager position, transportation and natural resources and I was advised just before lunch we have two recommended by the court team to interview.
we will now convene in executive session and complete our work there and come back to open court to take any action, and in my view we're looking at probably a couple of hours.

we've returned from executive session where we discussed three of the four items that we announced and we thought we would come back in open court and tack action because one is incredibly time sensitive.
25 is the matter involving the request for additional administrative leave with pay for the employee in the juvenile justice department.
I move that we add four days of leave with pay to the employee in slot number 435.
and that will get pay through today.

item 27 is the matter involving the claim filed by sergio flores against the precinct three constable.
we did give the county county attorney's office additional direction and hopefully they can act on that and bring this matter back for final action next Tuesday.

we will reconvene in executive session to finish our discussion of the only item remaining, and that is to interview final candidates for the executive manager position, transportation and natural resources, and if you will wait one minute and let me talk about a scheduling matter……
we did announce prior to that short recess to take up the corporations that we have one item remaining for discussion.
that's to interview finalists for the executive manager transportation and natural resources position.
and that is what we will do in executive session now.
