>> memorial day, heavenly father, today we remember those who have served our country with honor and devotion, especially those who have given their lives, we praise you for all of the blessings for those we enjoy, peace, liberty, security the freedom we have to worship you. Use us also as your instruments of peace and love as we serve you and others in jesus name we pray, amen. The reason i said this prayer. Monday is memorial day. You all that are working will have a day off. A lot of us veterans will not. I remember my good buddy alex, may he rest in peace. Somebody's hero, there is an old newspaper. Somebody's hero, everyone. The first one to die in vietnam, first lieutenant rodney, the last to die, my buddy alex, served in the army, that's -- last infantryman to die in vietnam. Because of these individuals that served in world war i or wherever this united states of america started even the colonial states, colonies, rather, because we have our freedom, you have a right to speak what you want to speak, you have a right to do what you want to do legally. That's what i'm here to talk about, the mothers that bore the veterans in their wombs, the lord jesus christ and the lord allowed these young welcome to give irt to these soldiers who died in combat. The tradition is to remember those who died in service of the country's freedom and democracy, we tend to forget this, because you are able to be elected, that's why the veteran's sacrificed their life for this. Alex, tonight rodriguez 1969, died, wylie guerrero, 1968 johnson graduate died, many others, mr. Dan alleno has a list of. We have our country as it is now because of our military veterans, please remember why you have a day off on monday, some of us don't. Please remember our veterans that died throughout the conflicts, i don't like the word conflicts but that's what they use. Wars, specifically afghanistan and iraq iraq, their needs are not being met by the united states government that we serve faithfully honorably, we ain't getting our dues, okay. The issue is that we want to talk about, judge, commissioners, please, and the people around here, remember the veterans. They served our country and other people's country. We need to help them in whatever needs they have. Last item that i have, is this, i'm proud and i'm glad that the united states of america finally is coming to know that female vets finally getting health care needs. Been a long time coming. I thank the good lord this has happened. Last issue and item is this, i'll -- i'll let mr. Alleno talk about this, this is his issue, a lot of the -- thank the good lord for the vets, okay. God bless america, thank you very much.
>> thank you, mr. Pena. My name is kenneth schnieder, north ridge acres, discriminated against. I went to the water development board, they couldn't believe it, county people, city people. They asked what i said, they wouldn't do it, of course. Here's the pictures. Our main problem out there, this here is a holding pond. That's -- that thing is about as high as this building here, to the water table, how come our septic tanks won't work. They put the piles of dirt on top of it, like this house here, sitting there over a year. See that big old pile of dirt, more land there than it is on the house. The ground water ain't got nowhere to go, it fills up, right down to the sides, that's how come we can't get the sewer to work. I put a political
>> [indiscernible] on craig's list, over 100 calls, the next day, monday morning on what the problem is and everything. They couldn't believe it. I showed them pictures, everything, i said more pictures on this week of the problem. The governor's office, i talked to a guy up there, i don't understand this part of it. He said tell them to put a hold on all grants unless they can fix your problem out there. They spend money for salamanders, tree, everything you can think of. 1325 in that ditch. That's about this big. There's a cement bottom under this here. So that culvert, all of that water runs down from the north ridge and everything. It sits there in the culvert, ain't got nowhere to go, going into austin, round rock, everywhere. And the county line is only about maybe -- maybe half a mile down the road or less. The county line. From the city of austin. But we are in the etj.
>> what county is that in?
>> travis county, going down into the city of austin.
>> what county is that in in the picture? The ditch, it's williamson county. But they are putting 300,000 in travis county right behind those in the travis county side, they are going to build 300 homes back, there they already got approved on that. I gave you the paperwork on it. But -- but i don't care what county it is, it's in the e.t.j. Of austin. If they -- if anybody -- round rock is not going to take it in. The city of austin will take it in. Then it will be travis county, williamson county, and city of austin. If -- just like you got the water, you got the water in for us, i appreciate that, you done real good. I don't know why you stopped on getting the sewer line in out there. It's a disaster. You find cats out there dead. A birth out there this morning that was dead. I didn't get out there fast enough with the camera, a cat already had it, took off. We are going to wait until somebody --
>> [indiscernible] put on the internet and everything and trying to get help and everything, they said they couldn't believe it. What development board i told them it's all discrimination. But this here like you see, water running down the street on them mounds. See how deep that mound is, that water i showed you, this here is the ditch they dug all the way around like the river. Something bubbling in there, probably a bunch of craw dads in there, i imagine, it's uncomfortable that we have to live like this. Unconscionable. We need to get this thing fixed, there is money out there, this here is the ditch out there. Culvert here. Running right down into the city of austin. What's it going take? Typhoid before anybody can help us. When we get typhoid then all of the lawyers kick in, i bet twe get something done then. We need sewer out there desperate lirks there's a problem to -- desperately. There's a program to help with that.
>> mr. Priest.
>> > thank you, judge, commissioners, speaking on my own behalf. I went to the campo meeting last night. I don't know if the media can show this paster here, these are different documents. Some of the
>> [indiscernible] we had were by a partnership with the federal highway administration and txdot to do these flyovers on ben white. It was on the tip plan, the campo plan, but this item was pulled and built through cooperation with working with people, activists in the community and then we had this campo plan on these toll ramps on s.h. 130 that were going to be funded by tax dollars, you all remember i told you at campo meeting that wasn't going to happen. Sure enough it was pulled, they came back and funded those ramps with stimulus money. Then of course we had the txi matter and then this document here talks about how we -- how we needed to work on the process of s.h. 45 and 290. Of course, we remember when they voted in this boondoggle on 290 they did this tolling of u.s. 183, 290 east, direct connectors by the central texas mnl mobility authority. One of the things that i have noticed time and time again, people are waking up. I noticed if you all saw the sunday insight article, david rodgers had, that's a whopper of a difference, you know, talking about this city land deal, they were going to do. Now we see on the front of the statesman we see deal -- could have cost project millions. Now they are going to pull this. And of course we -- we were told by travis county, our commissioners, and the court, that they weren't interested in the southwest 45. But people got involved and i'm telling people all the time, you can talk to all of these people, these are all of the campo board member, you can talk to travis county, you can talk to kirk watson, all of these state representatives, to the chrma, why not talk to the people making the decisions. I went to the texas -- open house of txdot may the 14th and talked to the people out there. Mr. Hertz, john hertz was there and -- and all of these people, victor, ms. Presswood, but we get involved and this -- this was in the plan. And this was going to be built. And it's going to be built maybe sooner than y'all think. Maybe you will see it when i get my movie with rick perry, we will get the enterprise fund to pay for this road. But we're going to fight and this is bogus information. Don't listen to these people because, you know, if you see me in the meeting and they say oh, that's not true, just mark it down, it's true, put it in the parng. Bank, this is a ctrma document. One of the things that i talked with txdot about is on page 11 and 15. Page 15 they have got southwest 45 listed as an expressway, built as a freeway just like in front of the airport. What i was saying if you have elected officials that don't listen to you at the city, come to the county. If they don't listen to you at the county, go to the state. If they don't listen to you
>> [buzzer sounding] at the state, go to the feds and be like ms. Dickey, she's been a mentor of mine. She brings the documents, always well prepared. So i wanted to thank her for being one of my mentors.
>> thank you.
>> all right.
>> thank you, mr. Priest.
>> ms. Dickey.
>> good morning, judge, sam biscoe and the panel. My name is ms. Phillip a. Dick, i'm an austinite, born and raised here. I am the president of a non-profit group called parents of concerned inmates being abused in texas prisons, jails and youth facilities. I'm here today to speak out on behalf of my grandson, who graduated from -- from Pflugerville high school, and the scouts was looking at him. He's very good in sports. He's good in baseball, basketball, running track and field. He had a job at Pflugerville at mcdonald's to enhance his career he started blat blanton college, right up the street here. And to -- to you know presume his career in sports. But it was cut pretty short. This is a picture of my grandson when he was younger, but he's older now, i couldn't find the older one. But this is -- the only grandson that i have. And he has been charged with rape, with -- with rape, assault, what is this here, sexual assault, and rape charge and on this rape charge i found and i know for a fact, my grandson is innocent of the rape because his girlfriend katricia, they have been together for over three years. My grandson was borned on halloween and they were out celebrating his birthday and halloween. My grandchild got drunk. I mean he told us he was drunk. Didn't know what -- where he was or nothing. He was celebrating. And somehow or another, they got home and everything and the law was called because he was too loud and he did have a gun on him. He was arrested for the gun possession, it hadn't been fired. It hadn't -- he had never used it or anything. And there was no crimes against it, the lawyer told me, which is mr. Attorney bill bishop. And he told me, ms. Dick, these charges will be dismissed, reduced to misdemeanor. I said oh, okay. He said well, what do you want to happen to your grandson on the rape charge? I said, well he's innocent. There's no d.n.a. He say no, there was no d.n.a. Found. Nowhere. I said, well, my grandson is innocent, he should be coming home pretty soon then, right? Yeah, soons we go to trial and everything. I see everything on here, na, the date changed to make my grandson be convicted where, you know, the dates will be changed, that means that he wasn't drunk on that date. Celebrating his birthday.
>> [buzzer sounding] everything was changed and everything is na under this section, assault conviction, you will see where it says weapon. Fined on deadly weapon. Na. Why shouldn't they have the fact findings on this as na? I don't understand this. And then how can they say he -- right quick, one more thing.
>> you are out of time.
>> okay. He -- and his attorney who is this, where is it at? Oh, lord jesus where is it at? Okay. He was supposed to be incarcerated by his district attorney,
>> [indiscernible], district attorney. That's not even true --
>> thank you, thank you very much.
>> i will be back to talk with you all about this here because i want my grandson released. He's innocent and been in state prison. I want mine released. Thank you.
>> ronnie reeferseed.
>> thank you, ms. Dick.
>> you are welcome, sir.
>> thank you.
>> thank you for showing up, y'all, i'm ronnie reeferseed shouting kids to celebrate your relative freedoms, taking on the adult world of bills, taxes obligations not as fun as you might think. Not fun at all. Oops i let out a secret there kiddos, but it's true. You need to hold on to your childhood as long as you can. How? Be sure to never take that first hit off a cigarette or joints, that first swig of alcohol, that's it. No more carefree days of childhood. Believe me, each and every one of us adults would give anything to have one more day of childhood. Unfortunately that's not an option, you kids should lecture us so-called adults for our so-called -- educating our mayor, city council about the horrific toxic sludge they purposely pollute our tap water with. We ask how many of you all drink tap water? Not single hand went up. The mayor and all of the city council members refuse to drink the toxic sludge they make us poor folks suffer with. It's over 150 toxic chemicals in fluoridated water. They charge is over 1.3 of precious taxpayer dollars a year to poison ourselves with toxic sludge, that's a very good, good enough reason for each and every one of us to work very hard to defeat each and every one of them at the ballot box. To felipe calderon applauding to lecture the voting citizens of arizona to pass a law tonight force the federal laws already on the book. But our criminal, federal, national government refuses to enforce, in fact the arizona law demands that there's no racial profiling because by the way, well over 50 percent of all arizonaians are latino. And after all, unlike the federal law, the arizona law cops have to pull you over for something else because before they even get a chance to determine for some reason if someone appears to be an illegal immigrant. The main reason they had to pass this law is because of our federal kaballah criminals have refused to do their jobs, to learn more call the mayor at (512)974-2250 ask about the toxic sludge he pours down our throats.
