>> kenneth snyder, northridge acres. I did go to city council and they said wasn't enough money to take it into the city. Said it wouldn't be possible. I don't care about taking it into the city. All i want is somebody to sponsor it and go to the grants and get this thing done and get it started. Like he said, that's all we need is a sponsor. We are in the e.t.j. Of austin and i agree with one part this guy here told me, you went to the right place, round rock will not take it in. They can't because it's not e.t.j. Williamson county can't do anything because no money to them. He's going to check into it, see what he can do. I told him to call you. You can see mounds with water all out is sides -- drive down 1325 and look at that car lot, i mean that mechanical shop on the right-hand side. Got a mound this high. I got a picture, forgot to bring my picture, and water all flooded. We need to get sewer out there. Somebody do like dan smith did. Follow his footprints and we got at water now. We need to get the sour out of the neighborhood, then we'll be safe. I don't care what it takes. I think money-i think people is more important than money. Money -- seems like money is the only one that everybody cares about, the county, city, everything, the money is the main problem. We've got a train running down the street that's going to be good for the homeless. They can make homes out of that to live in or something because it's going to be just like the bus, have three or four people going down the street in it. Ain't nobody going to get out of their cars to ride bullet trains and i'm sure you all ain't riding the train or the bus. And i ain't either. It would be a lot of fun to put that
>> [indiscernible] on a bus or train. They've got a setup for it. All we need to do is fix the problem. Just like i told the city. I said if you get sewer out there, there's other 300 or 400 houses could be built out there. The water goes through that sewer ain't free. Your water bill, the sewer bill is twice as much as the water bill. So they get the money back anyway. The tax base will pay for the sewer. And just like
>> [indiscernible] if the city takes us in they've got to put the sewer in in a matter of a period of time. If we get the grants and we already got the sewer in, that's money saved for the city and the county in some ways. We need to get you to do what dan smith did and get the sewer in there and i can go home and rest and won't have to worry about coming up here and killing myself because i don't enjoy this. There's programs out there.
>> [buzzer sounding] said all we need is somebody to sponsor it. And an individual cannot sponsor it. Has to come through the city or county. Thank you.
>> thank you, mr. Snyder. Mr. Pena.
>> good morning, judge, commissioners. Gus pena. I took a sabbatical from y'all and the city council because of other reasons, but anyway, one of the things i'd like to mention on public television is to let you all know that when one is involved in an accident through no fault of our own, it takes a big measure and a long time to get the settlement. A lady ran a red light, i say it was two red lights, but the issue is seton, cardon and progressive played games so i'm fighting that issue, issues that the legislature both local and national so other people don't have to go through. Steve, haven't forgot even. Been very good to the family. It's criminal the way victims are treated. I'll leave it at that. Number one first and foremost, we need -- as we look into housing affordable house, mr. We understander will had a good article in the paper says austin fails at low-income housing. Funding as allocated good to no one profits, but let me tell you something, judge and commissioners. A lot of these nonprofits require you to have an income. That precludes a lot of homeless people to get into these types of housing initiatives. I wish an audit would be done on all these nonprofits. I mean no disrespect, but it's something has to be done to look into this problem. Judge, commission, please no cuts in social services agencies. If nationally they are saying we're rebounding, that's a bunch of hoo-hah and i sawed say it in spanish because it's not. People just fail to go look for work. We can't compete with people who have master's or doctor's degrees. Please don't cut that. Funding is next to none at the agencies. We need to cut the dropout rate. I think you are doing a good job, just biscoe and commissioner he can hearted. We need more volunteers tore mentors and tutors for our youth. They are not graspings the mathematics. Failing, i see a lot of kids crying for help. Don't cut funding for summer jobs tore the youth. It keeps the youth away from other activities that's not good. I'll leave it at this. A
>> [indiscernible] please support our military troops. Whatever your position is, you can be against the war, nobody is for war, i served in the marine corps, i didn't want to die. But somebody has to defend our country. Please show your appreciation for military veterans and help and support our female veterans because they have more different type of needs, health care needs, but they need ptsd, mental treatment, housing, jobs. The texas veterans commission, he's heard my spiel many times, we're going to meet on thursday regarding the issues and we're going to be going nationally also.
>> [buzzer sounding] thank you very much and have a good day and god bless you all.
>> thank you, mr. Pena. Ms. Dick.
>> wow, better to see everybody. Good morning, everyone.
>> good morning.
>> my name is miss philip a. Dick and i am an on-and-off of - a native of austin and i am president of a group called parents concerned of -- and i am here today to pay hommage and thank the honorable judge charlie burk. On february 16, 2010, the honorable judge charlie byrd put some inmates from our group on his docket court, took out some time for our inmates and he did release one inmate and gave the other parent the necessary information that she needed about her son, and she was relieved that -- after she read the information. And i would like to thank you, the honorable judge charlie byrd for -- for your actions. I would also like to talk about when i asked him on february 16th about my civil case. I told him what had taken place. And i was trying in a criminal court to get my civil judgment, you know, signed, but he advised me that he could not do that because he was a criminal, you know, judge. But i needed to -- and he apologized to me for judge scott jenkins for using all of those racial slurs towards me which was in his court on january 5th, 2005, when i was trying to just get my order signed to release my judgment signed by the honorable patrick okeel. He told me black people like me, that was too much money for people like me to have and my kind of people didn't need this money and it was racial slurs. And i would like for the honorable -- i mean the judge scott jenkins to apologize to me. Because he's the one that did this. Judge byrd was nice enough to apologize for him and told me that shouldn't have taken place in judge scott jenkins' courtroom. And told me if he was a civil judge, he would sign my judgment right then and there, but he advised me to go back to the civil court and see about getting my judgment reinstated. And i -- i just really would like to get this issue out of the way. I'm like mr. Gus, he's been trying to get his resolved and i'm still -- here he is 2010 trying to get my resolved --
>> [buzzer sounding] -- and lord news i won my judgment in 2004, november 23rd, 2004. And i'm supposed to already have, you know, my money and judgment. Thank you.
>> thank you.
>> thank you, ms. Dick. Mr. Reeferseed.
>> thank you, judge. Hi, i'm ronnie reeferseed. Same kids cherish your childhood, believe me you are going to miss it so don't wreck it with drugs like alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana. The so-called real world of adults is something you want to avoid as long as you can. But rejoice, fellow texans, kids and adults today, we will all witness a huge upset when underdog true conservative holly turner explodes on to the texas house in open defiance of our own austin american space man who threw support behind her opponent who has given money to slimy jerk watson's campaigns as well as money for abortion on demand enthusiast donna dukes. I predict our very own controlled media will pretend turner's victory didn't happen but we'll shake up the texas house with her truly conservative ideals. Some of her supporters include the texas against government waste, tag, texas home school coalition, young conservatives of texas, texas alliance for life, republican liberty caucus and holly turner earned an a rating from the nra and the anti-illegal immigration leaning reform coalition of texas. And yes, holly turner is pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-second amendment. Dead set against texans being overtaxed for toll roads already built, bought and paid for already. Her opponent wants to take away your right to elect judges. Instead she wants -- he wants governor perry to have more power to enrich his cronies by appointing judges counter to our own texas political tradition of more power in the hands of voters. By electing our own judges. Learn more about all these issues and more with ob-gyn dr. Ron paul's website, robpaul.org. Call towel free 888-1414 for weekly updates from dr.
