2 is consider and take appropriate action on request by the housing authority of Travis County to fund two unbudgeted spend terse not exceed 135 that to you.
135 -- $135,000.
>> we're requesting approval for the interlocal agreement.
last week you instructed our attorney to prepare, and briefly I think the interlocal agreement encompasses what -- what was discussed last week.
the amount of the loan to the housing authority would be $135,000.
$75,000 would be -- could be released in this year and that would be to pay for the independent audit.
and it would be released as the housing authority is -- is billed for that independent audit, and that's the audit that is required by the h.u.d.
inspector general.
and then the agreement says that $60,000 released to the housing authority next year, in the f.y.
11 year, and that's to prepare for the operational assessment that was described by mr.
alter last week.
this is a forgivable loan.
there would be -- the interest rate would be zero.
zero percent.
it would be forgivable as the housing authority provided enhanced services to their residents and the housing authority would back up these services by providing us with time sheets if they were provided by employees or out so I providers.
we would give a report at least annually to the board about the progress of this contract.
of course, we would have the right to, and we would, oversee, monitor the contracted, make sure the funds are spent for the right purpose and that the services are being provided and the housing authority board has aid proofed the contract on Saturday -- approved the contract on Saturday.
mr.
alter has provided signed copies of the contract.
