>> good morning, judge, Commissioners, gus pena.
i hope y'all had a happy thanksgiving.
first and foremost, I would like to thank ms.
sherri flemming, the director of the Austin Travis County health and human services, veterans service for writing this information and listing on the flu clinics beginning, of course, November the 25th, which is of course last week.
the next one will be Thursday, December the 3rd at the delco center.

>> [speaking in spanish]
>> next thing that I would like to do, first and foremost, I will make it quick because I have to go, I want to thank the following people who helped out the needy people at thanksgiving dinners.
and because of them, a lot of people were able to partake and have food to -- at thanksgiving.
kerry balcones recycling, doing this since 1994, a good guy.
his wife and family.
eddie ortiz, two executive directors, I want to thank you very much.
the next one I barely met her, but I understand she was a judge in municipal court, olga
>> [indiscernible] provided help, also, a new groups hispanic veterans of Austin, it is a group that we formalized, vietnam veterans of any -- whether they were in conflict in the war or not, just veterans, they helped out a whole bunch of families, also.
mr.
raul alvarez who also came up to the plate, a former city council member.
i want to thank all of the people, the churches, the food pantry, everybody that helped out.
now, I will say, there I would challenge everybody now for christmas and the pena family challenges everybody to provide gifts or -- or adopt a needy family.
so much need right now with the economic recession, there's a lot of poverty out there and they need help.
so anyway, I'm not scared to give out my cell phone number.
it is 662-3423.
give me a call, if you have any groups that want to come on board.
please, so much need out there, so much poverty.
but I will tell you this much, as a christian, that's not -- that's -- let's not forget about what christmas is all about.
it's about the birth of baby jesus, I know separation of church and state whatever.
i'm going to say it on the air because I'm a christian, I thank god for giving me my life.
anyway, thank you all very much for your time.
i also want too thank everybody who donated.
please come to the plate and help the food pantries, they need help for food for seniors and kids.
thank you very much, have a good day.
>> thank you, mr.
pena.
mr.
priest.
>> judge, Commissioners, morris priest, speaking on my own behalf.
as you saw last night, the txdot is trying to collected 3 million in unpaid tolls.
and 56 million in unpaid fines.
txdot was willing to write off $53 million to get people to pay their unpaid fines and tolls.
but only 5% took advantage of this and last night we saw people in lines standing, the phone lines were jammed up with a two hour wait.
one individual in the line said he only owed $86 in tolls, but had $4,000 in fines.
i guess that's why we're short one billion dollars thus far in our rainy day fund.
it would have only taken 90 -- 80 to $100 million to build 45, even as a freeway, but txdot and campo decided to spend $90 million on four flyovers and to toll four flyovers on the east side.
of course last week we saw that the east side can't even be represented by this court due to the action that was taken last week.
and I don't think that anybody on this court has the ability to represent the east side any better -- than Ron Davis.
Commissioner Ron Davis has stood firm, year after year after year, standing up for those people on the east side.
i don't know, maybe it would have made a difference if I would have got on my hands and knees and begged my Commissioner to give her spot up on the board so that we could have representation on the east side.
but historically, the city of Austin has not represented the east side.
now it appears that this disease has spread to our Travis County Commissioners court.
but I thought it was appalling how things were done out at txi just -- which will now not only be a gravel mine, but then after it's a gravel mine, it won't be fit for anything except for a dump.
so that's their future.
unless this court stands up and does what it needs to do to stop this travesty of justice.
it was just such a heart breaking experience to watch what unfolded last week in our Commissioners court.
but I do think, thank, nathaniel brooker, jeanette kincaid, richard franklin, too numerous to mention folks that came out and pled with the county to help us stop this situation, which I believe the county can.
just absolutely one negative debt stream after another.
funding problems that we have.
health and safety concerns.
this dump is going to just be -- a never-ending nightmare.
they had a conveyor belt that would have taken a lot of traffic off the road, but that was scrapped.
i do believe that I guess it is just the realtor that's run this community now.
thank you.
>> thank you, mr.
priest.
>> mr.
reeferseed.
>> thank you, judge.
and here you go, you can see these signs, people, they are banned right now.
other than writing the few seconds that we have.
okay.
ronnie
>> [inhale] reeferseed saying kids once you take your first hit off a joint or swig of alcohol, you have canceled your own childhood.
believe me, kids, you can't get it back.
so don't cancel it, cherish it instead.
and for you constitution sledding power tripping -- shredding power tripping Commissioners,
>> [indiscernible] is victory.
last week al gore will certainly retire from public life because soon he will be behind bars.
he is a criminal, enthuse I enthusiast, nobel prize winning stooge for the exploding global climate scam gate.
read up on it, people, we can now all read the raw, bare facts of the panicking e-mails from the university of east
>> [indiscernible] temperature research center to -- all over about the dissolving dissolution the hog wash of the so-called global warming, now called climate change.
guess what, people, climates change.
it's inevitable, change is the only constant in our universe, of course climate changing, especially after years of toxic chemical manmade clouds spewed out from some of the military planes that blanket our skies all over at huge cost to you and me.
the big surprise about climate change it has been changing the climate since the 60s, the chinese communists admitted it back then.
the evil unconstitutional begun confiscation ordered after katrina was just a test for the ongoing obama scam.
what's the obama scam, the bankster stooges have taken over two-thirds of the once mighty u.s.
car industry while spending more non-existent fiat currency spent by all other u.s.
presidents over our nation's entire history in less than a year.
wow.
and over 30,000 more u.s.
troops to guard those poppy fields in afghanistan, that means over 100,000 u.s.
troops now there.
in afghanistan.
with almost that many contractors.
only organized crime thugs, kooks and our own media bankster criminals want more war.
only 90 civilian deaths last month in afghanistan.
wow, a new low in civilian deaths in afghanistan.
how long will we or they put up with that hog wash?
why should anyone?
let's instead listen to ob/gyn Ron paul and bring all troops home to defend our vulnerable borders, we can listen legally to new ideas from dr.
ron paul by dialing toll free (888)322-1414 read more by and about doctor paul by dialing 888699 news.
call me my ongoing campaign, online free pot now at yahoo.com also infowars.com, prison planet.com, ronpaul.org.
thank you.
>> thank you.
those are the three that signed in, would anyone else like to give comments during citizens communications or not, whether you signed it.
>> I would like to refer back to item 12, what we discussed last week, as far as Travis County comprehensive plan.
of course I'm going to attend all meetings that impact precinct 1, when it comes to the Travis County comprehensive plan.
whenever those meetings are held within precinct 1 or impacts precinct 1, I will definitely attend those meetings, which requires actually a posting.
but -- but I just want to let folks know that those that were concerned about this, because there are folks that have the concern and have showed concern, so in that regard, just letting folks know that -- that I will attend meetings in precinct 1, they are concerned about how it impacts it.
>> can I --
>> no, sir, you may not.
